Dé-marche, avec Alain Buffard, 2002 |
Performance, installation, about 40 min
Produced for the Festival Les Intranquilles, Villa Gillet, Lyon
Production : Villa Gillet, Lyon
Curator : Guy Walter
Dé-Marche is a project based on Honoré de Balzac's text Théorie de la démarche. Jan Kopp intervened as a dancer-performer alongside Laurence Louppe (dance historian) and Alain Buffard. For this project, he also created an important installation that transformed one of the spaces of the Villa Gillet into a corridor where, on video screens and mirrors, the spectators could see their own image mixed with walking sequences taken from the history of cinema.
