Toitoitoiropa is a construction conceived in collaboration with the Italian choreographer Marco Berrettini. The spectator walks through the space of a hybrid form of 12 meters long which is like a pickle and a boat. The construction houses different cells where videos by Jan Kopp are shown: Westlich; Taming the Alien; Sannectamock; Final Races and Une histoire sauvage de la danse à la télévision by Marco Berrettini/*Melk Prod, as well as two vinyl records produced for the exhibition. On one, a phrase from the film Taxi Driver is engraved and played on a loop: "WE are the people is not the same as we ARE the people". The other vinyl quotes a sentence from the film Brazil: "We are all in it together".
