News from an Unbuilt City is a sound installation composed of fifty square plates placed on the ground and two computers suspended in the air. Each plate is reactive to the steps of the visitors. Depending on their number and the way they move, different sound environments are composed. The installation occupies a surface similar to a theater stage, it is sheltered by a structure of wood and corrugated cardboard.
